PHUKET: Phuket officials held a comprehensive Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS) training workshop yesterday (Jan 24) with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions on the island by at least 440,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, claimed to be equivalent to 9.6% of the island’s greenhouse emissions, by the year 2030.
