All events will be held in a respectful and simple format. No live music, stage shows, contests, fireworks will be permitted anywhere in official event zones.

Phuket City Municipality confirmed the cancellation of the annual Loy Krathong Festival, but a venue will remain open for those wishing to float krathongs at the pond in front of Chalerm Phrakiat Public Park (Suan Luang Rama IX).
The municipality noted the celebration will be quiet and dignified, with no entertainment of any kind.
Patong Mayor Lalita Maneesri yesterday inspected construction of the temporary pond set up on the beach at the end of Bangla Rd, prepared to prevent krathongs from entering the ocean and reduce environmental impact.

Violations involving fireworks or alcohol remain subject to fines or jail terms under Thai law, Patong Municipality warned.
Srisoontorn Municipality will hold a simple Loy Krathong event at Khum Nam Bang Maruan from Nov 3–5, with a tribute ceremony at 7:30pm tonight. There will be no food vendors this year, but the municipality has set up photo spots and a check-in zone to support local tourism.
Wichit Municipality has prepared floating areas at Baan Borrae (Khlong Mudong) and Laem Dinso, and set up a mourning book for the public to sign and pay respects to the Queen Mother.
Karon Municipality announced all contests and cultural shows were cancelled. Official festivities for Loy Krathong will be held only at Nong Han Public Park to float krathong.
Rawai Municipality announced that all festivities were cancelled and said it would not organise any official areas for floating krathong.
At the same time, Kathu Municipality also cancelled its official events.
Cherng Talay Municipality is providing a place for residents to float krathong but noted that the celebration will be quiet with no entertainment. Attendees are asked to avoid bright colours and dress appropriately for mourning.
Chalong Municipality is hosting a religious merit-making ceremony, candle lighting and quiet krathong activities at Wat Latthiwanaram (Wat Tai), with all attendees asked to dress in respectful attire.
Ratsada Municipality and Phuket Rajabhat University will hold a Loy Krathong event under the theme ‘Mother of the Land, Compassion Beyond Time’ at the pond in front of the university’s main auditorium at 7:09pm, a candle-lighting ceremony and moment of silence will be held in remembrance of Her Majesty.
Traditional performances and more than 100 food stalls will be open from 3:30pm, though entertainment remains subdued in line with the mourning period.
