Women injured in Phuket three-vehicle accident

PHUKET: Two Thai women were taken to Patong Hospital for treatment today (Mar 9) following a road accident involving a motorcycle, a passenger van, and a Honda Accord sedan in the southern part of Patong.

Police and rescue workers were notified of a three-vehicle incident on Sirirat Rd at around 12.20pm, according to a publication on Kusoldharm Patong Facebook Page. Officers were directed to a steep hillside section of the road near Southern Big Bike and Koola Guesthouse.

Upon arrival at the scene, police and rescue workers found a damaged Honda Wave motorcycle, a Toyota Commuter van with front-end damage, and an overturned black Honda Accord sedan.

According to a report by the Patong Branch of the Kusoldharm Rescue Foundation, two Thai women were injured in the accident and taken to Patong Hospital.

Rescue workers did not specify which vehicle or vehicles the injured women were in. Patong Police have yet to report on the accident.
