Branded ‘Food Festival 2025’, the event will take place at Sri Phuwanat Park on Pattana Thongthin Rd from this coming Thursday (Feb 27) to Mar 3.

In announcing the event, Wichit Mayor Kreetha Chotiwitpipat highlighted Phuket’s rich cultural diversity, which blends Thai, Chinese, Muslim, Indian and Western influences, “resulting in a unique and vibrant food scene”, he said.

Mayor Kreetha also highlighted the festival as a key initiative in promoting the province as a creative food city while ensuring high food safety standards. The event aims to provide both locals and tourists with clean, uncontaminated food while boosting the local economy, he explained.

This year’s festival, themed ‘Good Food, Good Health, Good Music’, will feature a wide selection of food vendors, including restaurants, beverage stalls and food trucks, creating a lively and relaxing atmosphere complemented by live music performances.

Attendees can enjoy a special free tasting event next Friday (Feb 28), featuring the dish ‘Long-Life Fried Noodles’.

The festival will also showcase nightly concerts by renowned artists, with free admission. Scheduled performances include the Phatthalung band on Feb 27, Leo Mike Mod Nai and the Super Dance band on Feb 28 and Ton Khao R on Mar 1.

Mayor Kreetha invited local and international visitors alike to experience the flavours of Phuket and enjoy a safe and delicious culinary experience at the festival.
