The works, from 1am to 6pm, will require one lane westbound along Phra Baramee Rd to be closed.
“As a result, traffic may be affected in the surrounding areas, including Phra Baramee Rd, Phra Metta Rd, Rat U-Thit 200 Pi Rd, Thaweewong Rd (the Patong beach road) and the Ban Kalim community,” said the notice announcing the works.
“In addition, water supply will be interrupted in certain areas between 1am and 6pm. Residents in the affected areas are advised to store water in advance,” the PWA advised.
The Phuket Provincial Waterworks Authority apologised for any inconvenience caused.
