The outage in Srisoonthorn will specifically affect Botanica Modern Loft housing estate area from 9am to 7pm tomorrow.
The outage is necessary while workers install a new 225mm HDPE pipe, said the notice by PWA Phuket.
The second outage tomorrow will be along Phra Phuket Kaew Rd in Kathu, from 9am to 6pm.
The outage is to allow workers to install a new 315mm HDPE mains pipe, the PWA explained.
In its announcement, PWA Phuket did not specify which areas are to be affected in Kathu, but marked the location of the work to be carried out as in front of Kathu Fresh Market, just east of the Kathu Intersection.
There are several large housing estates nearby.
The PWA urged residents and businesses to store water in advance of the outages.
People in the areas can expect “weak to no flowing water area” during the outages, the PWA warned.
The PWA also warned that water may appear cloudy or contain sediment after supply has been restored.
The work was described as necessary “to improve the water supply system, improve service quality”.
“The PWA Phuket Branch will proceed as soon as possible… We apologise for the inconvenience,” the PWA said.
