The outage will be 9am to midday as workers conduct an inspection, Chalong Municipality said in a brief announcement posted online.
“Water users are requested to reserve water for use on the specified date and time,” the announcement said, while apologising for the inconvenience.

The water-supply outage in Chalong comes as the Phuket branch of the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) struggle to keep pace with repairs and upgrades to the island’s water-supply network.
A notice posted by the PWA at 8:51am today (Sept 1) announced that residents in Pruksa Ville housing estate in Kathu will be without mains water supply just nine minutes later, from 9am to 4pm, “due to a problem with the electrical system in the low-voltage water pumping plant”.
The areas affected by the outage in Kathu today include Moo Baan Pruksa Ville, Soi Bang Thong and along Wichit Songkhram Rd.
“Provincial Waterworks Authority apologises for the inconvenience here,” said the announcement.
“You may find cloudy, colored water and sediment after repairs,” it added.
The spate of ongoing urgent repairs and maintenance work follows residents in Kathu Thani estate being without mains water supply from 1pm-7pm yesterday (Aug 31).
Meanwhile, residents at the Supalai Primo, Tawan Place, Supalai Hills and Supalai Essence housing estates all the way to the to the Robinson Lifestyle Thalang branch at the Heroines Monument were without mains water supply 4pm-11pm yesterday as workers urgently repaired a HDPE 315mm mains pipe.
The water outages will continue for residents along Thep Anusorn Rd in Wichit from 9am to 8pm on Tuesday (Sept 3) as workers install a 400mm mains pipe to supply the area.
