The training session was held in the Bon Mai Thon Meeting Room at the Royal Phuket City Hotel, overseen by Pol. Maj. Gen. Songprot Sirisukha, Commander of Immigration Bureau 6.
Also in attendance was Pol. Col. Kriangkrai Ariyaying, Superintendent of Phuket Immigration, along with the various Phuket Immigration volunteers.
Pol. Col. Kriangkrai explained that the training was structured to help develop the potential of immigration volunteers to have knowledge and understanding of immigration-based work so as to provide a good service which reflects positively on the province as a whole.
Furthermore, the support of Phuket Immigration volunteers will help Phuket Immigration Police officers become more efficient, said Pol. Col. Kriangkrai.
One such example is utilising the capabilities of outsiders such as volunteers who may have specific knowledge and skills in foreign languages to participate in supporting the work of Phuket Immigration Police officers.
The directive is aligned with the policy of the National Police Chief on the development of police stations to ensure readiness and serve as a valuable resource for the public.
It is similarly aligned with the policy of the Immigration Bureau Commander on immigration services, said Pol. Col. Kriangkrai.
