Thailand Amazing Thailand film takes centre stage in Bangkok

At a private luncheon set in the ballroom at the Hyatt Regency, Bangkok a new film called Thailand Amazing Thailand has been launched yesterday (December 02) by former Minister of Tourism and Sports “Weerasak Kowsurat”.

The film features British producer “Will Robinson” who went to the North East of Thailand searching for the Isan sounds, he set up “The Isan Project” and then discovered real Thailand. Timed with the projects ten year anniversary the new film takes Robinson on a great adventure of Thailand, he fuses handmade Thai instruments with Western beats, collaborates with over 500 people and takes Isan dancing to the streets of New York.

His epic journey includes some of the amazing locations he found and some of the twenty five songs he’s written and recorded including “This is the moment”, “Flowers of Thailand”, “I love Isan”, “Where the eagles fly”, “Amazing Thailand Dance with me” and the popular “Thailand Amazing Thailand”.

Weerasak Kowsurat says “Thailand tourism has always been known for her beauty through the eyes that see and the delicious taste of Thais local foods.. Khun Will Robinson adds our local sounds of music and instruments to create songs that beautifully mixed to reflect what he feels from the accumulation of his experiences from many decades in Thailand....this is truly amazing and we are so proud of these results that brings our spirits to a new level “Will Robinson adds “The last 10 years, I know what happiness is. The new film “Thailand Amazing Thailand (the film)” described by some involved as a legacy from “The Isan Project” can be seen on the projects YouTube channel “The Isan Project”.
