Overlooking the contemporary infinity pool that glows a deep blue in the evening, the setting is really quite special. We arrived as a gentle breeze was drifting through the open-air seating area and decided to start our evening at the outdoor deck area, which felt like we were on the top deck of a luxurious cruise ship. Here we enjoyed the perfect base to watch the sunset which illuminated the sky with unobstructed Andaman Sea views.
We then moved inside for our evening meal, where we appreciated the thoughtful and interesting décor of their open-air restaurant, including a dazzling gold ceiling centrepiece and a more formal feeling versus outside, yet still with an atmosphere of elegance.
The menu is focussed on Mediterranean flavours, infused with French, Italian, Greek, Thai and Western influences and dishes. Ingredients are carefully sourced, with premium imports from Italy, such as tomatoes and flour, ensuring the authenticity of their homemade pasta.
One of the standout dishes is the ‘Homemade Tagliatelle with Burrata’ – the rich and creamy burrata was nicely plated in the middle of the rustic tomato sauce. Another must-try is the duck massaman curry, where tender, confit-style French duck is slow-cooked in a fragrant sauce that balances sweetness and spice.
Beyond the food, the bar area is an inviting space to enjoy signature and classic drinks while watching the sunset and beyond into the evening. A good spot for a pre-dinner beverage before settling in for a meal under a canopy of delicate, star-like lights. Floor-to-ceiling windows blur the lines between indoor and outdoor dining, ensuring that every table enjoys the full splendour of the view.
Service is polished and polite, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to a professional dining experience. To end the meal on a sweet note, the classic tiramisu arrived beautifully presented, adorned with a delicate flutter of gold leaf that elevates the classic dish.
