Samkong Underpass to close for lighting repairs

PHUKET: The Phuket Highways Office has announced that the Samkong Underpass will be closed overnight tonight (May 9) so that repairs can be carried out to the lighting system in the tunnel.

The underpass will be closed to traffic from 9pm tonight to 5am tomorrow (May 10), said the announcement by the Phuket Highways Office.

“Therefore, we would like to inform everyone and apologise for any inconvenience,” the notice said.
