The incident occurred in Soi Korphai, where concerned locals reported the presence of the snake near a convenience store.

Rescue workers from Kusoldharm Phuket Foundation soon arrived at the home, where residents directed them to the exact location of the snake.

The python was found hiding next to a wall beside the store, its body concealed beneath a cement floor. In order to safely retrieve the snake, rescue workers were forced to break through the cement.

After a careful search, they uncovered a sizable python estimated to be around four metres long.

Using an iron hook, the team pinned the snake’s head before one of the rescuers secured it by hand.

The python was then placed into a sack and later released back into a natural area far from residential communities.

The operation was carried out without injury to either the rescuers or the snake.

Local residents expressed relief and gratitude for the prompt response, praising the team’s swift action in safely removing the reptile.
