Officials have been preparing for HRH Ubolratana’s visit for the past month.
The Phuket branch of the Public Relations Department has now released the formal itinerary of HRH Ubolratana’ visit.
The main event will be held at the Khun Luang Korakot Auditorium at Phuket Rajabhat University. The event marks the launch of efforts to promote mental health awareness and drug prevention under the ‘To Be Number One’ initiative, a nationwide youth campaign championed by the Princess.
The royal programme will begin at 5pm with a visit to the university’s To Be Number One Friendship Center, followed by an official ceremony and stage performances highlighting the initiative’s impact and outreach. Princess Ubolratana will also chair a concert under the ‘To Be Number One’ banner.
Dress codes for attendees have been outlined: civil servants are asked to wear formal white uniforms; the general public is encouraged to wear traditional or regional attire in red tones; and young participants are invited to dress in ‘To Be Number One’ uniforms.
The Princess’s visit aims to inspire youth engagement and reinforce community efforts in promoting healthy lifestyles free from drugs.
