The power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, is to allow PEA workers to “Improve the high voltage distribution system” in the area, said the announcement.
The areas to be affected include Golden Ville Village 2, 3, 4, Moo Baan Puttharat and the area opposite Kathu Townhome Village, the announcement said.
Of note the power outage has yet to be announced by the Phuket branch of the PEA. The power outage has been listed on the national PEA website.
The Phuket News first learned of the scheduled blackout by a sound truck passing through the area.
People with enquiries about the power outage were advised to call PEA Phuket at 076-210427-8.
