The Provincial Electricity Authority Phuket City Branch (PEAPhuket) had informed the municipality of the power outage, which will be from 9am to 4:30pm, Kathu Municipality said in its announcement.
The outage will be from the entrance of Soi Samakkhi Si Kor and continue along the left side of Phra Phuket Kaew Rd to the Kathu Intersection, the announcement explained.
Housing estates to be affected were named in the announcement as Moo Baan Golden Ville, The Space, Pruksa Ville Village (Kathu-Samkong), Phuket Villa Mana (Kathu Lake), Phuket Villa Kathu and Phuket Villa Kathu 2.
“Please be careful when using electricity in your workplace or home because it may be powered on before the specified time.” the notice warned.
While PEA Phuket has yet to post any announcement of the power outage tomorrow, the national PEA website lists the outage, describing only the same basic details, while marking that the outage was necessary in order “improve the high-voltage distribution system” in the area.
