Electricity will be temporarily shut off between 9am and 4:30pm as part of a project to improve the high-voltage distribution system and allow for the relocation and dismantling of high-voltage poles, PEA Thalang explained in its announcement.
The outage comes as the area is to suffer another major power outage tomorrow (May 28).
The outage on Thursday will affect properties and businesses along the Blue Tree Water Park side of the road, from Cherng Talay Homeworks to the entrance of Wat Thepwanaram (Wat Manik), covering areas within Srisoonthorn and Cherng Talay.
PEA Thalang listed the following locations as to be affected by the power outage:
