The campaign, held under the direction of Wichit Police Chief Pol Col Somsak Thongkliang was led by Pol Lt Col Wutthawat Liangbunchinda, Deputy Superintendent of Investigation, alongside traffic division officers Pol Lt Col Somporn Rangsimanrat and Pol Lt Col Bancha Kaewkrasat.

Officers, together with the school’s director and teaching staff, delivered educational sessions focusing on the legal consequences and health risks associated with e-cigarettes and drugs. The event also highlighted the importance of following traffic laws, particularly the use of helmets when riding motorcycles.

As part of the initiative, students were introduced to the ‘100% Helmet Project’, encouraging full compliance with helmet-wearing regulations to enhance road safety.

The event concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Wichit Police Station and Darasamut School, solidifying their commitment to ongoing cooperation in promoting youth safety and discipline.

The programme aims to instill responsible behaviour among students and build a safer, more law-abiding community, said an official report of the event.
