According to police, the Israeli man, named in reports only as ‘Mr Cohen’, stole a white Honda Click motorbike from the hospital on Apr 21 and fled the scene.

After gathering evidence, investigators secured an arrest warrant from the Phuket Provincial Court (No. 101/2568, dated Apr 29), charging him with theft.

Following coordination between the Phuket Immigration and Wichit Police, Mr Cohen was located and taken into custody. He later confessed to the crime, police confirmed.

The date and location of his arrest was not reported.

The arrest aligns with an ongoing crackdown led by the Royal Thai Police and the Immigration Bureau targeting foreigners involved in illegal activities, including theft, working without permits and transnational crime, Wichit Police reported.

According to an official report of the arrest, Phuket Immigration also reminded the public that it remains dedicated to addressing offenses committed by foreigners, including those involving nominee businesses and other forms of misconduct.
