The event, held at the Royal Phuket City Hotel, drew a distinguished crowd of officials, community leaders and association members.
The ceremony was officially opened by Bandit Sajjapong, Director of the Phuket branch of Office of the Attorney-General, alongside Surapong Yangcharoensakul, President of the Phuket Yunnan Association.
Guests included Muang Phuket District Chief Pairoj Srilamul; former Phuket Vice Governor Vikrom Jakthee; and Phakhawat Kaokosakun, President of Phoyok Herbs Co Ltd.
Representatives from the Chiang Rai Yunnan Association, Chiang Mai Yunnan Association and Phuket Thai-Taiwan Chamber of Commerce were also in attendance.
The gathering showcased the unity and cultural heritage of the Yunnan Chinese-Thai community. Highlights included cultural performances by Phuket Yunnan youths and the Phuket Yunnan Association Housewives Group.
Guests enjoyed traditional Yunnanese cuisine, prepared with contributions from various Yunnanese villages in northern Thailand, reflecting the region’s rich culinary traditions, said an official report of the event.
