The three-day event, held at the Boat Avenue Lakefront, starts today and continues through to Sunday night (Jan 17-19).
Organisers have confirmed to The Phuket News that they have already sold more than 26,000 tickets for the event, which is expected to draw large crowds to the region.
To ensure smooth operations and safety during the event, Region 8 Police and Phuket Provincial Police have implemented comprehensive traffic and security measures.
A combined force of more than 250 police officers will be deployed, supported by an additional 300 security personnel from the event organisers, including administrative officers and volunteers, officials have confirmed.
In total, 102 traffic police officers joined by 60 regular police officers and two companies of crowd control police have been assigned special assignments to control traffic and assist security for the event
Tourist Police and Immigration officers have also been brought in to provide support, as has an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) squad.
Event attendees are encouraged to use designated parking areas, including:
- Coconut Grove next to PTT Pa Sak, accommodating up to 2,500 cars.
- Blue Tree Water Park, with space for 500 cars (parking fees may apply).
The police have advised non-attendees to avoid traveling through event-adjacent routes during the festival period to minimize traffic congestion.

- Soi Cherng Talay 4
- Soi Cherng Talay 6
- Srisoonthorn Road
- Nearby areas
Cherng Talay Police issued an apology for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for the public’s cooperation.
