During the ceremony, Phuket authorities presented honorary plaques to individuals and organisations for outstanding contributions in four key areas: prevention, suppression, treatment and management of drug-related issues.
Certificates were also awarded to 12 educational institutions recognized as ‘Silver Level Drug-Free White Schools’ for the 2024 academic year, and to 32 participants who completed the ‘Mother of the Land Fund’ trainers programme.
The event concluded with Governor Sophon leading participants in reading an oath and declaring their unified intention to combat drug problems, symbolising the joint effort of the government, private sector and the community in building a drug-free Phuket.
