Organised by the Phuket Provincial Employment Office in collaboration with JobBKK.com, the major recruitment event was held at the Robinson Lifestyle shopping mall in Chalong.
A total of 507 job positions across 51 different job titles were actively recruited at the fair, with direct interviews available from more than 25 employers on-site.
In addition, the Phuket Provincial Employment Office was recruiting on behalf of employers at 16 more locations. For those interested in working overseas, international job registration services were also available.
The fair was officially opened by Phuket Vice Governor Suwit Phansengiam and led by Jirapa Chaisom from the PPEO, joined by representatives from the Phuket Tourist Association, the Phuket Tourism Industry Council and various labour sector agencies.
Ms Jiarapa explained.that the event was aimed at all job seekers ‒ whether new graduates, the unemployed, the disabled, ex-convicts, the elderly or even students looking for part-time work during school holidays.
The fair also included career counselling services and exhibitions from agencies under the Ministry of Labour and private sector partners. Participants were encouraged to explore opportunities that match their skills and interests while employers were able to meet potential recruits face-to-face ‒ saving time and recruitment costs.
The Phuket Job Fair 2025 also aimed to ease the labour shortage and strengthen confidence among investors and employers in Phuket’s growing economy, Ms Jiarapa explained.
Ms Jiarapa explained highlighted to the press that more job listings and details for positions available in Phuket were available at www.jobbkk.com
