Phuket Governor Saransak Srikruanetra oversaw the opening ceremony where he used his official speech to extend deepest condolences on the recent passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.
Joining Governor Saransak was his wife Ruedeewan Srikruenet, who serves as the President of the Phuket Red Cross and President of the Interior Ministry Housewives Association.
Following his opening remarks, Governor Saransak then led all participants in a brief warm-up and stretching session ahead of the main event before participants took off from the start line.
