The convoy was formally launched at 9am in front of Phuket Provincial Hall in a ceremony attended by Vice Governors Adul Chuthong and Suwit Phansengiam, along with representatives from government agencies, the private sector, local administrative organisations and members of the public.

Local Officials coordinated donations and supplies from multiple sectors, including rice, dried food, beverages, drinking water, daily necessities and basic medical items. The aid is intended to help alleviate hardship among residents in the worst-hit provinces.

The 16 trucks departed immediately after the ceremony, supported by volunteers, personnel and logistics teams who assisted in preparing and loading the supplies to ensure swift delivery to affected communities.

Vice Governor Adul reaffirmed Phuket’s commitment to supporting national relief efforts and expressed gratitude to all organisations and individuals who contributed resources and assistance.

He said Phuket stands in solidarity with those suffering from the floods and hopes the situation in the South improves soon.
