While the club stated Coach Tum resigned, the coach himself has suggested he was asked to step down on Wednesday (Feb 19). Taking the reins at this critical juncture is Coach Akarat Naunla-ong, affectionately known as Coach M.

An AFC A licensed coach, Coach M brings a wealth of experience from various clubs, notably including stints at Krabi FC, Songkhla FC, and Nakhon Si United, where he achieved considerable success, demonstrating his ability to lead teams at this level.

His background also includes time with Phatthalung FC, where he gained further valuable experience.

His educational background includes studies at Suankularb Wittayalai School, a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Christian University, and a Master’s in Education from the National Institute of Sports (Krabi Campus). This diverse experience makes him a well-suited candidate to navigate the challenges ahead.

Coach M faces a daunting task. His immediate priority is to steer the Lobsters away from the drop zone and ensure their continued participation in T3 next season. The magnitude of this challenge is brought sharply into focus by the crucial encounter looming later today against Yala City FC. It is a virtual six-pointer against a direct relegation rival, a game that could very well define the Lobsters’ season.

The pressure is immense, and the stakes could not be higher. Unfortunately for Coach M, he will be without the services of influential midfielder Luke Pavone, who is still recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in last week’s loss to Muangtrang. Pavone’s absence will be a significant blow to the team’s chances.

Despite the off-field distractions and the palpable pressure, the Lobster faithful will be looking to him to inspire a performance that can ignite their survival hopes. Today’s game will be a defining moment for PAFC, a chance to prove they can rise to the occasion and fight for their place in the league.
