The incident occurred around 11:20pm at a single-storey home located on Thepprathan Rd, in Moo 1, Ratsada.

Officers rushed to the scene, but by the time they arrived, the blaze had already been extinguished.

An inspection revealed that the fire had damaged both bedrooms and scorched parts of the roof structure. The house, consisting of two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, had not been used as a residence for two decades.

Khwanchai Srisajjang, who identified himself as the homeowner, told police that the house had been used solely for storage. He suspected that the fire may have started due to old, deteriorating wiring.

No injuries or other property damage were reported. Investigators are continuing to assess the scene to confirm the cause of the fire.
