The event is scheduled to take place at Saphan Hin Public Park from July 25-28, aiming to highlight local talent, innovation and community spirit.

Thammarat Wongcharoenyos of the Sports Authority of Thailand and President of the Phuket Provincial Sports Association announced the festival at an event held at the Phuket Vocational College.earlier this week.

He was joined by Witthaya Ketchu, Director of Phuket Vocational College, and Sasawat Limpanich, Managing Director of Yamaha Music School Phuket.

Mr Thammarat said that the event was designed to combine the strengths of multiple sectors and offer an exciting new experience for residents and visitors alike. He emphasised that this is the first time Phuket will host an event that merges music, sports, arts and AI in such an integrated format. He described the festival as an opportunity to celebrate diversity, foster creativity, and strengthen the province’s cultural and technological identity.

A major highlight of the festival will be the Phuket Teqball Cup 2025, a sports competition supported by the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation (PPAO) and organised by the Phuket Provincial Office of the Sports Association of Thailand. The tournament will take place from July 25-27 at the Saphan Hin Sports Field.

The Teqball competition will include two divisions: one for the general public and one for participants under the age of 17. Within each division, there will be three categories: male singles, female singles and mixed doubles ‒ a total of six competition categories. Interested participants are invited to register for the tournament now through July 22.

In the creative and innovation segment, Phuket Vocational College will present a special exhibition that explores the intersection of art and artificial intelligence. According to Mr Witthaya, the exhibition will showcase student artworks that incorporate AI technology, as well as interactive displays of AI innovations from China.

Mr Witthaya said that the goal of the exhibition is to provide youth and the wider public with an opportunity to experience AI technology up close. He said the college aims to create learning experiences outside the classroom and to help visitors understand how AI can be integrated into the creative process. The exhibition will demonstrate how Phuket’s younger generation is being equipped to adapt to and thrive in a technology-driven future.

Yamaha Music School Phuket will provide a rich musical programme throughout the four-day event. According to Mr Sasawat, the school is preparing full-scale string music performances featuring both musicians and singers who have previously won national music competitions.

Mr Sasawat said the performances are expected to add energy and colour to the festival and will serve as an inspiration for aspiring young musicians. He said that music is a key component of the festival’s identity and that Yamaha Music School is proud to contribute to its success.

In addition to professional performances, the festival will also feature a series of live shows by local youth bands from schools across Phuket. These include bands such as ‘FUNNY’ from Phuket Wittayalai School, ‘COSNOVA’ and ‘DS NOV’. A headline concert by popular Thai artist ‘Maleehuana’ is also scheduled to take place during the festival.

The organisers said the festival represents a new type of event that brings together multiple sectors and showcases the province’s talent across several disciplines. The event will also include food and beverage booths, product exhibitions, interactive workshops and opportunities for the public to engage with new technologies and creative performances.

The festival’s theme, “Invite, Taste, See, Shop: Music, Sports, Arts, AI”, reflects its mission to offer a well-rounded experience for attendees of all ages, Mr Thammarat said, adding that the festival will become a new annual highlight on Phuket’s cultural calendar.

Entry to the event is free of charge, and the public is encouraged to attend and take part in the wide range of activities on offer.
