Accessible through any mobile web browser ‒ no app download required ‒ Phuket OneMap integrates real-time tracking for six public bus lines. It provides estimated arrival times, interactive maps, stop information, and transfer suggestions for navigating Phuket’s key areas.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to ease traffic congestion and encourage more sustainable forms of travel, the TAT said in its promotional post
“Phuket OneMap is a tool that helps everyone ‒ tourists and locals alike ‒ move around the island more easily and with confidence,” noted the TAT. “The system brings together live data from Phuket’s main public transport providers.”
Despite TAT’s role in promoting the platform, Siriwan Siharat, Director of the TAT Phuket Office, declined to comment directly on the system or the agency’s own promotional materials, saying only that the OneMap service was developed primarily by private entities.
Developed by Phuket City Development Co Ltd (PKCD), in cooperation with local authorities and smart city agencies, the Phuket OneMap portal aims to improve urban mobility. It does not attempt to map all transport options on the island ‒ such as tuk-tuks, app-based ride-hailing services, private charters and motorbike taxis ‒ but rather focuses on six public bus lines operated by government or private entities, the TAT explained in its post.
The TAT highlighted the benefits of using the platform as: Live bus arrival times; Easy-to-read route maps; Access to beaches, cultural attractions, shopping areas and public piers; and Affordable and increasingly eco-friendly rides, including electric buses.
Users can access the platform by visiting onemap.phuket.cloud on their phone’s browser.
The interface allows riders to:
- Select a bus route or line
- View real-time bus locations and estimated arrival times
- Identify nearby stops and connections
- Check timetables and full route information
The live data covers three major bus systems and a total of six route lines.

- Check landmarks: As some bus stops may lack clear signage.
- Know the schedule: Bus lines are not 24-hour services—plan your trip accordingly.
- Allow buffer time: Particularly when heading to the airport or important appointments.
