Thalang Police reported receiving a call about the accident at about 7:20pm. The crash occurred on Route 4031, opposite a cannabis shop in Moo 8, Thepkrasattri, as the rider was travelling from Sakhu towards the Mud Dok Khao intersection.
Emergency responders arrived to find a green-black Kawasaki motorcycle, registered in Chonburi, lying damaged in a grassy area beyond the curve. Nearby, a government utility pole and roadside billboard had also been struck and damaged.
Witnesses told police the Thai male rider, whose identity has yet to be confirmed, appeared to lose control of the motorcycle before veering off the road.
Rescue workers from a local foundation provided initial treatment and transported the man to Thalang Hospital, where doctors were performing CPR last night.
Investigators from Thalang Police, led by Deputy Inspector Pol Lt Anuson Klinkeaw, inspected the scene, documented the damage and are working to contact the rider’s relatives. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
