PHUKET: Two Thai nationals have been arrested in Patong for illegal possession of crystal methamphetamine (’ya ice’).

Both suspects, a man and a woman, were apprehended at around 4pm yesterday (Mar 22) in the same rented room on Pisitkoranee Rd.
Mr Nitipon (surname withheld), 28, was found in possession of 0.84 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
Ms Yura-Aenas (surname withheld), 35, was found with 0.90 grams of the substance.
Mr Nitipon and Ms Yura-Aenas were taken to Patong Police Station and charged with illegal possession of a Category One narcotic without intent to sell.
