PHUKET: The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has announced that the electricity supply will be shut off in key parts of Rawai tomorrow (July 10), as works are carried out on high voltage distribution improvement.

Areas to be affected by the power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, are from Rawai Pier, along the entire Rawai beachfront, to Promthep Cape. Affected areas also include areas set back from the beachfront (see map above).
In its announcement, the PEA apologised for any inconvenience caused while the work is carried out.
