The power outage, from 9am to 4:30pm, will allow workers to safely carry out improvements to the high voltage network in the area, the PEA said in its announcement.
The power outage will be from in front of Sam Burger shop on Wichit Songkhram Rd, located north of the Si Kor Intersection, to Soi Namtok Kathu (Soi Kathu Waterfall), said the announcement.
Large residential areas to affected include Phanason Park Ville, Moo Baan Golden Ville 2, 3, 4, 5; Puttharat Village and Kathu Townhome estate.
PEA Phuket apologised for the inconvenience and advised people with queries about the power outage to call the PEA Phuket branch at 076-210427-8 or contact PEA Phuket via the official Facebook page, or by calling the PEA hotline 1129.
