The suspect faces charges of selling prohibited food products under the Ministry of Public Health announcement, which carries penalties of up to two years in prison or a fine of up to B20,000, Thalang District Office noted.

The individual is also accused of selling kratom products within 1,000 metres of an educational institution, in violation of the Kratom Act and related regulations.
