Business operators registration opened yesterday (June 25) and will run until next Monday (June 30), through the official website เที่ยวไทยคนละครึ่ง.com.

Eligible businesses include hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, spas, tourist attractions, car and boat rental services, and other tourism-related operators. Participating businesses must verify their accounts with Krungthai Bank to prevent fraud.

The programme offers travel subsidies to Thai citizens, with public registration opening on July 1, at 8am via the website and the Amazing Thailand app. Travel rights can be used from July 4 to Oct 31, 2025.

Under the scheme, the government will subsidize up to 50% of accommodation costs, capped at B3,000 per room per night. Each person can book up to five nights.

In major cities, subsidies will cover 50% of weekday stays and 40% on weekends and public holidays, while in 55 specially designated attractive cities, the government will pay 50% every day throughout the campaign period.

Participants must be Thai nationals aged 18 or older and can only use the travel benefits outside of their home province. Discount vouchers of up to B500 per right will also be available for use at restaurants and other tourism services.

Bookings must be paid by 11pm on the day of reservation and at least three days before the travel date. Payments must be made via the PromptPay system.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports expects the project to help increase the total number of domestic tourists to 69.3 million people during the four-month campaign period.
