The parade will be held to mark the beginning of the Blue Games 2024, a student sports competition held by PSU Phuket. According to the notice posted by PSU Phuket and Kathu Police, the parade will be held from 5pm through 6pm.
The route of the street procession starts at the entrance to PSU Phuket Campus (near Utopia Central condominium) and runs all the way to Kathu Municipal Park (locally known as Whiskey Mansion Park or Liquor House Park) through Ket Ho Intersection.
Additional traffic congestion is expected on Mueang Chao Fa Rd. near PSU Phuket Campus as the university has announced a whole evening of music and sports fun to celebrate the beginning of the Blue Games 2024.
