As of late Sunday afternoon (Mar 31), four arrests have been reported by the Patong Police Station through its official Facebook page. The first publication was made around noon on Saturday (Mar 30), and the most recent statement was released at around noon on Sunday (Mar 31). The results of the police work are as follows:
Mr Mading (family name withheld) was arrested at 2.30pm on Friday (Mar 29) for possession of a 9mm pistol with a magazine and a holster, plus one methamphetamine pill. The arrest was conducted at an “abandoned building without a number” on Sirirat Rd. Details of the charges against Mr Mading were not revealed. No ammunition for the 9mm handgun was reported as found in the arrest.
Mr Patkrurosi (family name withheld) was arrested at 2.30pm on Friday (Mar 29) for possession of 0.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The arrest was conducted at an “abandoned building without a number” on Sirirat Rd. Details of the charges against Mr. Patkrurosi were not revealed. Police didn’t elaborate on any links between Mr Mading and Mr Patkrurosi.
An unnamed male suspect was arrested on Saturday (Mar 30) for possession of 60 methamphetamine pills. The arrest was conducted at an apartment building on Soi Khlong Bang Wat, the time of the arrest was not disclosed. The unnamed suspect was charged with illegal possession of a Category 1 drug for sale.
An unnamed female suspect was arrested on Saturday (Mar 30) for possession of one methamphetamine pill. The arrest was conducted at building 68 on Sainamyen Rd., the time of the arrest was not disclosed. The unnamed suspect was charged with illegal possession of a Category 1 drug not mentioning any intent to sell.
All four suspects were taken to Patong Police Station for legal processing.
