Police received the report at 1:37am from Sujittra Phummuang, who discovered evidence of a break-in at her home in the Phanason Residence estate, in Moo 5, Wichit.
Responding officers inspected the property and confirmed that a three-bahtweight gold necklace had been taken. No suspect has yet been identified.
Station Chief Pol Col Somsak Thongkliang has assigned Pol Lt Wutthichai Chanfai to lead the investigation. Officers are gathering evidence and reviewing security camera footage in the area to help track down the perpetrator.
