PHUKET: A 29-year-old British man has been arrested at Phuket International airport for attempting to bring into Thailand a small bag of cocaine that was hidden in his passport.

Immigration officers at the airport reported that the man was arrested in the Arrivals Hall at the airport at about 7pm on Thursday (May 2).
The small plastic bag containing the cocaine weighed 0.42 grams (including the bag), airport immigrations noted in their report.
The man, from Enfield in north London, was placed under arrest and handed over to Sakhu Police.
He has been charged with bringing a Category 2 narcotic into the country and illegal possession of the drug.
