Thalang District officers, together with officers from the Office of The Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) and the 3rd Thalang District Volunteer Defence Corps (OrSor), led the operation in Moo 1, Mai Khao, on Tuesday (Nov 4).
Officers found four small bags of crystal meth (ya ice) totalling 1.25 grammes. A homemade firearm and three shotgun cartridges, and a mobile phone, were also seized.
The suspect, not named in the Thalang District Office report, was taken to Tha Chatchai Police Station for legal processing.
A second man was detained in Moo 3, Mai Khao, in a separate check the same day. Officers reported finding two methamphetamine pills (ya bah) in his possession before handing him over to investigators at Tha Chat Chai Police Station.
Thalang District noted that the arrests came as part of a wider push under the Ministry of Interior’s ‘Phuket 120 Days Nonstop’ campaign, though officials emphasised the drug and weapons seizures were the result of targeted local investigations.
