Update: The air-sea rescue exercise off Patong Beach was later announced to be held on Dec 1, not Nov 26.
The exercise is part of an initiative called “Safety Phuket Island Sandbox” that will be held at three locations on the island on Nov 26, said an official report of a meeting held at the Phuket Public Health Office (PPHO) yesterday (Nov 6).

Also in Phuket Town, at the and Lard Yai Walking Street, there will be an exhibition highlighting ‘Street Food Good Health’ and the awarding of such signs to vendors along the Walking Street to promote that those vendors comply with PPHO health and hygiene requirements.
